Program Director Jim O’Sullivan will join the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America for an update on IBD Plexus, the groundbreaking research and information exchange platform on track to bring together researchers, clinicians and over 40,000 patients living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. With $17.5 million in support from the Trust’s IBD and Crohn’s Disease Program, IBD Plexus was developed to transform how IBD research is conducted and accelerate the path to better treatments and cures by coordinating fragmented elements of the research process.
Held at the 2015 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Conference, Jim will join other IBD Plexus leaders and experts to announce progress with the creation of a biobank, clinical registries and a patient-powered research network.
