The Trust’s Conservation Program Associate, Rosalind Becker, moderated “Coastal Development: The Underdog’s Toolkit,” a panel in which she and four experts discussed strategies that have helped conservation NGOs gain traction in organized efforts to curb large, unsustainable coastal development.

Also of the Trust's Conservation Program, Program Officer Renu Saini served on a panel, titled “Out with the Old? Amplifying Community Voices for Conservation Using New and Traditional Media,” in which she discussed the ability of technology and social media to mobilize conservation networks, gather data, and share information across great distances in the developing world and beyond.
