The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust Donates $3 Million to Haitian Relief Efforts

The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust announced its approval of donations totaling $3 million -- $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, $1 million to Oxfam, and $1 million to Partners in Health -- to support the work of these organizations in providing medical care, food, and other urgent necessities to the victims in Haiti.
"After seeing the devastation in Haiti and the suffering of its people, we are committed to helping immediately," the trustees stated. "These organizations have a long-standing history working in Haiti and are renowned for the essential resources they provide for the region."
