Mercy, St. Luke's get $1.1 million for mammography equipment

SIOUX CITY -- Mercy Medical Center and St. Luke's Regional Medical Center have received a $1.1 million grant to buy digital mammography equipment. Officials announced the funding Tuesday.
The money is through the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.
The grant will pay for the purchase and installation of digital mammography equipment at Mercy's Radiology Center and St. Luke's Imaging and Breast Screening Center.
