Unique Story on How Hospital Foundation Received Grant

Last week we told you about the $3 million dollar grant that the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation received from the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust to assist in the purchase of equipment for the new Welch Cancer Center. Sheridan ER Physician Dr. Tom Richards, who is also a Foundation Board member, happened to be at a convention where the two crossed paths.
