Neligh News: CT Scanner Delivered to Hospital During Anniversary

As a rural Nebraska hospital celebrated its 65th anniversary last week, it received a special delivery: a brand-new 64-slice CT scanner. With this high-quality technology, Antelope Memorial Hospital will now be able to provide advanced scans closer to home for cancer and critically injured patients.

Helmsley’s Rural Healthcare Program launched a CT Scanner Initiative in the fall of 2016, inviting rural hospitals to apply for funding to purchase new CT scanners. Antelope Memorial Hospital is one of 41 hospitals that was awarded a grant through this initiative.
