Lillian Cheng

Program Officer, Conservation

Lillian is the Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Conservation Program. Lillian currently oversees all aspects of the shifting strategy of this program, which has worked on a global scale to resolve environmental threats in ways that ensure the well-being of local communities.

Before joining Helmsley, Lillian was a senior project manager at AEI Consultants, Inc., an environmental consulting and engineering firm, where she coordinated and managed environmental site investigation and remediation projects in the Northeast. Lillian has also developed energy efficiency retrofit projects in her prior role as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow with the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, and as a consultant to the Government of Montenegro

Lillian received an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, a B.S. in Marine Science with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, and holds a LEED Green Associate credential.
