Executive Assistant, T1D
Carly Maready is the Executive Assistant for the Helmsley Charitable Trust's Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Program. In this role, Carly works directly with the Trustees and T1D Program staff to help organize, maintain, and create new projects within the T1D Program and its multi-million dollar grants portfolio.
Prior to joining Helmsley in 2011, Carly worked as an administrative assistant at Lindsay Goldberg LLC. The majority of her career has been in interior design, where she spent five years designing custom stone architectural pieces and representing high-end fabric design houses. Her enthusiasm for organizing, problem-solving, and the field of philanthropy eventually led her to the role of Executive Assistant at Helmsley. She enjoys when things are on schedule and progressing smoothly.
Carly graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Communications, specializing in advertising and public relations. In her spare time, she enjoys going on adventures, playing with her family, cooking, and people-watching.
