Associate Program Officer, Conservation
Charlotte Gauthier is an Associate Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Conservation Program. In this role, she assists with the management and administration of the Trust’s place-based conservation projects in Mexico, the Galápagos, Madagascar, and Myanmar.
Before joining Helmsley, Charlotte was a governance and public sector consultant for the World Bank. While there, she supported the conceptualization of public sector reforms in the East Africa region and was responsible for the design of a public sector performance project for the Government of Madagascar. Charlotte has also worked at the World Bank office in Paraguay, developing socioeconomic quantitative and qualitative studies to inform poverty reduction strategies.
Charlotte holds a Master of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Universidad de San Andres, Argentina.
