Associate Program Officer, Crohn's Disease

Emily Weisberger is an Associate Program Officer for the Crohn’s Disease Program.

In this role, she supports the management and administration of current grants as well as the development of new grant initiatives relating to IBD and Crohn’s disease.

Before joining Helmsley, Emily was a senior associate for fellowships and research in the International Health Policy and Practice Innovations program at the Commonwealth Fund. In this position, she provided day-to-day support for the Harkness Fellowships program, coordinated projects on “frugal innovation,” and was an integral part of the international health policy survey team. Emily also served as an associate for grants management and administration. Prior to working at the Commonwealth Fund, she held several positions at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, including daily operations management of an outpatient clinic in gastrointestinal oncology, and clinical trials research.

Emily received a M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from the CUNY Hunter School of Urban Public Health, and a B.A. in Health: Science, Society and Policy from Brandeis University.
