Robert Williams is a Senior Accountant at the Helmsley Charitable Trust in New York City. In this role, Robert works extensively with the general ledger, reconciles accounts and investments, produces financial statements, prepares organization budgets and provides research and analysis.
Robert comes to the Trust with 14 years of nonprofit experience in accounting and finance. He was director of financial analysis and strategy and director of finance and administration at New Leaders, a nonprofit organization with a mission of ensuring high academic achievement for all children. He served as the Senior Accountant at Jobs for the Future, a nonprofit organization with a mission to identify, develop and promote education and workforce strategies that expand opportunities for youths and adults.
Robert received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts at Boston and a Master of Business Administration from Fordham University. In his spare time, he is an avid runner and has completed a number of marathons including the New York City Marathon and Boston Marathon.
