Heidi Schultz
Program Officer, Rural Healthcare Program
Heidi Schultz is the Program Officer for the Rural Healthcare Program where she assists in the development and management of grants that focus on “tele-medicine” (also known as “e-health”) to improve healthcare in rural areas.
Ms. Schultz has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over twenty-one years in fundraising, marketing/communications/PR, and administration. She attained CFRE certification while raising funds at a children’s hospital over a ten-year period where her work included writing and coordinating grants for projects & programs, research, technology, and capital needs. Most recently, she was a member of the senior leadership team for a statewide social service organization focusing on fundraising, communications, and staff & leadership development.
Ms. Schultz graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.A. in Commercial Economics and a minor in Spanish. In addition to numerous community volunteer endeavors, she currently serves on the Miracle League of Sioux Falls Board of Directors and enjoys providing ultra-accessible baseball to children with special needs and unique volunteer opportunities to typically-abled peers.
