Shelley Stingley is the Program Director for the Rural Healthcare Program that focuses on strengthening healthcare institutions in the upper Midwest. Her vision is to provide opportunities for rural critical access hospitals, through the development of technology that will provide access to rural citizens in their home communities.
A lifelong resident of the upper Midwest, Ms. Stingley’s experience includes working in several healthcare institutions that reach out to rural areas, fourteen years as the CEO of a regional nonprofit, the Assistant Chief of Staff for two South Dakota Governors and Secretary of the State Department of Labor. Her experience brings a background of the challenges of regulations; fund development and helping the rural areas survive in tough economic times.
Ms. Stingley is a graduate of Wayne State College, with a B.F.A, and also attended the Wharton School of Business Leadership Development Program. She is a current member of the South Dakota State Workforce Development Council and enjoys singing in the church choir and gardening.
