Convened by the Milken Institute’s FasterCures initiative, Partnering for Cures is an annual meeting that connects leaders across diverse fields of medical science who are working to accelerate research and development.
Helmsley’s Type 1 Diabetes Program Director, Gina Agiostratidou, will participate in a panel titled, “From Avalanche to Aha! Successes in Collecting Patient Data for Research.” Gina will discuss the rise of new data sources and technology and how the field is working to use patient data to improve health outcomes for type 1 diabetes.
IBD and Crohn’s Disease Program Director Garabet Yeretssian will also lead a roundtable discussion on the future of patient registries. The event will feature numerous Helmsley partners, including Professor Dan Peer from grantee Tel Aviv University’s Department of Cell Research and Immunology.
