On Wednesday, December 2, Program Director Tamara Fox will join Measure of America for an interactive demonstration of the new DATA2GO.NYC mapping tool. Held at Philanthropy New York, this workshop will introduce nonprofits and other foundations to the unique capabilities of the tool and provide an opportunity for participants to discuss how DATA2GO.NYC could address their own data needs.
DATA2GO.NYC was recently created with a grant from the Trust’s New York City Regional Grants Program to bring together federal, state and local data vital to understanding inequality and well-being in New York City neighborhoods.
A tool for policymakers, community-based organizations, philanthropists, social service delivery agencies, journalists and all people working to improve life in New York City, DATA2GO.NYC allows users to create unique maps and visualizations, prepare community district profiles and identify trends and connections.
