Eric Strothmann

Eric Strothmann is the Administrative Assistant for the Grants Management team at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. In this role, Eric supports the team by managing schedules, making travel arrangements, completing expense reports, and coordinating event logistics. In addition, Eric works with other departments at Helmsley to help manage program operations, grants programs, and records maintenance.

Eric came to Helmsley with extensive experience working as a litigation paralegal, a legal clerk for an immigration non-profit organization, and as a personal assistant to a visual artist. In addition to his professional experience, he has volunteered with numerous mission-driven organizations focused on a variety of topics ranging from food security to medical services, and restoration to green businesses.

Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in visual communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He is an avid traveler and has lived in five countries and four major cities across the United States. He is now settled in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, where he spends his free time planning new adventures, lamenting the weather, and cultivating his indoor garden.
