Manager of Payroll and Office Operations
Emilian Toba is the Manager of Payroll and Office Operations at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. In this role, he oversees payroll processing, accounting, reporting, and compliance, and focuses on operations policies and procedures that reduce risk and ensure business continuity.
Prior to joining Helmsley, Emilian managed the payroll department at Gracious Home, where he focused on streamlining policies, procedures, and internal controls. Before that, he was the payroll and risk manager at Ricky’s NYC where he implemented several systems, audited payroll taxes, and managed insurance policies.
Emilian has an Master of Science in accounting from Hofstra University. He is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and a member of the American Payroll Association (APA) and APA New York Metropolitan Chapter. In his free time, he loves spending time with family, reading, and photography.
