Louisa Valitsky

Louisa is a Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Israel Program.

Prior to joining Helmsley, Louisa worked with the Jewish Agency for Israel, as its central emissary for Russian-speaking Jewish communities in North America. Before that, she worked in Israel as senior project director at the Nadav Foundation and as deputy director general of the Israeli Center for Better Childhood. She also served in the Israeli government as an adviser to the Minister for Jerusalem and Diaspora Affairs, Minister of Construction and Housing, Minister of the Interior, and Minister of Industry and Trade.

Louisa graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a B.A. in English and East Asia Studies, and earned her M.B.A. at the Israel College of Management.
