Amy Pitts is an Associate Program Officer for the Helmsley Charitable Trust’s Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) Program, where she works within the “Living with T1D in the U.S.” strategic pillar of the program, focused on reducing disparities in T1D care access and outcomes.
Previously, Amy spent several years as Executive Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer and supported the Investments Department at Helmsley. Originally from North Carolina, Amy’s work experience includes project management and strategic marketing development, and she worked as an account executive with Leapfrog Marketing PR & Design before moving to New York.
Amy holds a Master of Public Administration and Policy from American University in Washington, D.C. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
