Camila was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, but grew up and began her career in the Dominican Republic, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). Prior to joining Helmsley, Camila worked as a quality systems technician at Medtronic, primarily assisting with investigations into corrective and preventive action claims. She then focused her career on IT and quickly earned a Lean Six Sigma black belt and CompTIA A+ certifications.

Camila appreciates eating delicious desserts, especially sweet pastries, and enjoys playing video games. She is also an avid competitive swimmer who has won numerous medals and trophies.
