The Jerusalem Post Covers Hadassah-Helmsley Netivot’s Opening, Bringing Advanced Care to Israel’s South

Hadassah Medical Organization in partnership with the Helmsley Charitable Trust has opened Hadassah-Helmsley Netivot, a new medical center intended to bring advanced diagnostics, treatment, and care close to home for communities in southern Israel. The Jerusalem Post recently reported on the medical center’s opening ceremony, which featured leaders in government, science, philanthropy, and health.  

Helmsley is committed to improving healthcare for everyone in Israel, bridging the disparity between residents in the center of the country and in its south, who for decades have faced long and exhausting travel to distant medical centers to reach the care they deserve. 

“Whether you live in the north or south of Israel should not limit your ability to access the same quality of healthcare as in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv,” said Sandor Frankel, Trustee of the Helmsley Charitable Trust.
