Project Title

Leveraging Wearables to Measure Stress and Forecast Symptom Transitions in Crohn's Disease

Project Description

CD patients often find advice from clinicians disconnected from their own experience of illness, while similarly, clinicians often find patients' self-reported outcomes of stress to be unreliable and difficult to guide in managing their disease or treatment selections. If successful, this grant will provide insights into leveraging wearable devices as a means of tracking basal physiological signals of stress and understand the relationship that stress plays in managing and forecasting symptoms of CD.
