Project Title

Improve the management of diabetes (especially T1D) and the support to people affected by the disease in Burkina Faso, Mali, and the Union of Comoros

Project Description

This grant builds on Helmsley's strategy to strengthen the management of T1D in three Low- and Middle-Income countries (LMICs). Santé Diabète's goal is to provide high-quality care and improve the quality of life of people with T1D in Burkina Faso, Mali, and the Union of the Comoros. To accomplish this goal, the strategies of the project include technical assistance, advocacy, and health system strengthening. This project is co-financed by the French Development Agency (FDA) and represents an impactful international partnership to address diabetes and other chronic NCDs in LMICs.
