Project Title

Establishing new paradigms in pre-clinical Crohn's disease- The INSPIRE study

Project Description

Crohn's disease is often diagnosed only after subjects become symptomatic due to lack of accurate, non-invasive indicators that would allow earlier disease identification. This study aims to identify disease signature profiles and provide evidence for the utilization of capsule endoscopy as a practical screening tool in individuals at risk and to the general population of high Crohn's disease incidence and allow very early diagnosis of disease. This would greatly improve patient's clinical outcomes and could even prevent the clinical disease onset.
