Biomarkers of Intestinal Fibrosis in Small Bowel Crohn's Disease
This project aims to develop and validate non-invasive imaging tools and biomarkers for the improved diagnosis and accurate measurement of intestinal fibrosis that will allow for the differentiation between fibrotic and non-fibrotic inflammatory lesions, enabling a precision medicine approach to guide more effective treatment decisions. These tools will also help in the clinical development of much needed anti-fibrotic therapeutics for CD patients.
