Project Title

Implementation of nationwide telemedicine network to mitigate geographic disparities in access to healthcare for Crohn's disease patients living in Canada

Project Description

The implementation of strategically deployed telemedicine hubs across underserved regions of Canada will reduce wait times that patients currently endure to receive essential CD-related healthcare. The proposed national telemedicine program will allow CD patients to visit a local telemedicine clinic to meet virtually with a CD specialist, allowing for the same high-quality care without the financial and personal cost of travelling hours to an IBD Center for in-person care.
