Accelerating Enrollment in IBD Clinical Trials

Project Description

Clinical trials are essential for developing novel approaches to preventing, detecting, or treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Inadequate or slow enrollment has long been a formidable challenge to successful clinical trials. Issues with enrollment may delay time to completion and increase study costs, creating a significant hurdle on the path to new treatments. If successful, this grant will identify and address significant barriers to clinical trial enrollment by developing and disseminating key learnings and resource tools to advance the patient recruitment process for IBD clinical trials.
