Project Title

Habitat Restoration Project for the Island of South Georgia

Project Description

To restore the Sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia to its original status as one of the world's most important seabird sites through the eradication of invasive species. In partnership with FOSGI, millions of introduced rodents, which have threatened the populations of at least 13 bird species on the island, are being eradicated through helicopter-based aerial baiting.
