Project Title

Development of an intestinal ultrasound score to evaluate inflammation and treatment response in Crohn’s disease. USE-IT: A prospective, multicenter study

Project Description

There is an unmet need for a bedside diagnostic tool providing immediate results to the treating physician, accurately reflecting disease activity and extent, ruling out complications and quantifying treatment response. The goal of this grant is to develop a user-friendly IUS CD activity/response index, with longitudinal validation against accepted gold standards, informed by patient experience and monitoring preferences.
