Project Title

Development of eLearning Platform For Standardization and Dissemination of Intestinal UltraSound Education Globally (IBUS eIUS Ed)

Project Description

Intestinal ultrasound (IUS) is an inexpensive, safe, and well-tolerated imaging modality demonstrated to accurately determine CD activity in a clinical, point-of-care setting when used by trained gastroenterologists. The current IBUS IUS training model is inflexible, expensive, and non-scalable for the global expansion of IUS integration into IBD centers around the US. Creating an IUS eLearning solution will improve IUS education, access, and scalability to meet the increasing global demand for training, ultimately bringing IUS to IBD patients at a significantly faster rate than the current training model allows.
