Project Title

Building an Integrated Model for Pediatric Diabetes Care in Under-Resourced Countries

Project Description

Funding to develop high-quality, integrated and scalable models of pediatric diabetes detection and care delivery in Haiti and Rwanda and to support their replication in other under-resourced countries. This work builds on Partners in Health's local and international partnerships and seeks to integrate local diabetes service organizations within the operating structure of each country's public health system and to use these experiences to encourage the inclusion of proven pediatric diabetes care models in emerging national non-communicable disease strategies.
