Project Title

The “Diabetes CarePak” Project: Enabling High-Quality Diabetes Self-Care

Project Description

This grant builds on Helmsley's strategy to make insulin, diagnostic tools, and other essential T1D care commodities consistently available and affordable in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). PATH aims to develop a human-centered “co-packaging” solution that increases LMIC access to the required combination of insulin and associated supplies needed for self-care. Focused in Mali, Mozambique, and Tanzania, this project complements other complementary PATH-led efforts in Vietnam and Kenya and leverages expertise from the Coalition for Access to NCD Medicines & Products.
