Redefining the future of emergency medicine: Implementation of 24/7 mobile life support for sudden cardiac arrest patients in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area
The University of Minnesota, in collaboration with local health care and EMS systems, aims to dramatically improve cardiac arrest survival rates by bringing critical, life-supporting interventions to patients even before they reach the hospital. The project seeks to redefine the standard of emergency care for these patients, and influence communities around the country to adopt successful new strategies for saving more lives.
