Project Title

Expression and targeting of lymphocyte function associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) on white blood cells for treatment of Crohn's disease

Project Description

The grant aims to determine if patients with Crohn's disease have immune cells in the blood and the intestines that express high levels of LFA-1, a protein involved in immune cell migration to inflamed areas, and to examine the effects of the LFA-1-targeting drug, leukotoxin A on patient immune cells.
