Project Description

Addressing the Challenge and Constraints of Insulin Sources and Supply (ACCISS) Study Phase III will continue to work to ensure stronger global and national systems are in place to support people in need of insulin. Diabetes treatment is a complex issue and we see insulin as the foundational building block. However, good care cannot be realized without access to affordable supplies and diabetes diagnostics. Using the evidence gathered in the previous phases, particularly at the national levels, Health Action International (HAI) will improve access to insulin while introducing a new area of work that focuses on global barriers to diabetes diagnostics.
