Project Title

Mother-to-Infant Transfer of Bacteriome, Virome, Fungome and Metabolome in health and Crohn's disease (Mommy-CD)

Project Description

This study will help uncover key microbial and metabolomic factors that contribute to the development of Crohn's disease and are transferred from mothers with Crohn's disease to their infants. It will further assess how early life exposures can influence the offspring's health and can be harnessed for predicting risk, prevention and/or treatment of Crohn's disease.
