Project Title

Endpoint Development for Ostomy Clinical Trials (EndO-Trial) Consortium

Project Description

Although progress has been made in combating gut inflammation with several new drugs, patients with a permanent ileostomy have been universally excluded from clinical trials evaluating new treatments. If successful, this project will build a drug development pathway by developing a novel ostomy PRO and ostomy endoscopy index and will improve disease management by establishing optimal clinical care pathways for patients with Crohn's disease and a permanent ileostomy.
