Project Description

Funding to develop a new clinical care model for Latino youth with type 1 diabetes in the USA utilizing culturally-relevant nutrition and diabetes management materials, shared medical appointments and family-focused group events and to study the clinical outcomes and cost-effectiveness of the approach with the intention to replicate the model at other diabetes centers.
