Project Description

The Sonia Nabeta Foundation (SNF) is an NGO established in December 2015 by Vivian Nabeta in memory of her sister, Sonia, who succumbed to a sudden hypoglycemic shock, a complication of type 1 diabetes (T1D) in the fall of that year. Helmsley supports its Project Boda-boda whose principal goal is to improve access to healthcare for children with T1D in Uganda by establishing a network of motorcycle taxis to distribute insulin and essential supplies to children living with T1D.
