Project Title

Mitochondrial DAMPs as mechanistic biomarkers of mucosal inflammation in Crohn's disease (MUSIC)

Project Description

This project seeks to develop a non-invasive method to monitor inflammation and mucosal healing through the identification of mitochondrial danger associated molecular patterns (mtDAMPs) as novel biomarker signatures, providing physicians with a simpler and more accurate way to diagnose and treat CD patients.
