Project Title

Purchase a Myocardial Perfusion SPECT (single- photon emission computed tomography) scanner for Ziv Medical Center

Project Description

This grant will introduce extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) services at Ziv Medical Center. ECMO training and certifications will be obtained by more than 100 of Ziv's nurses and doctors, increasing the level of care available to critically ill patients. The new services are essential for strengthening healthcare preparedness in Israel's peripheral communities.
