Following the success of similar efforts in rural South Dakota, the $3.8 million grant to the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services will help law enforcement agencies across the state have a direct, virtual connection to mental health specialists to help assess and determine next steps for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
