GetInsulin.org

Insulin is not optional.

If you or someone you love is struggling to access insulin, go to GetInsulin.org. GetInsulin.org is a new tool from our partners at Beyond Type 1 to connect people in the diabetes community in the US to the insulin access options that match your unique circumstances.

On GetInsulin.org, users answer a few questions (such as location, insurance type, income, and prescription) then receive a customized action plan to access insulin. The site and action plans are available in English and Spanish, and serve people with diabetes in the United States.

We’re sharing today because we know many in the US struggle to access insulin. The list cost is high, and not taking insulin is not an option. Until we see systemic change, individuals will need immediate assistance. GetInsulin.org is an important resource for people who need help affording their insulin today.

GetInsulin.org is a program of Beyond Type 1. The program is supported by partners* American Diabetes Association, Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, Endocrine Society, Feeding America, Helmsley Charitable Trust, JDRF, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and National Hispanic Medical Association and is funded by Lilly, Mylan, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi.

The information input by users on GetInsulin.org is used to generate custom action plans, but is NOT saved or stored. Beyond Type 1 and GetInsulin.org partners do not gather, keep, or share any user information that is input on this page. Please refer to the site Terms of Service for more information.
