This month, Health Affairs’ new issue covers an important hot topic in healthcare: innovation.

With support from Helmsley and several funders, the theme issue looks at how innovation happens, approaches and challenges to its diffusion in healthcare, and key lessons learned. The collection of papers explores innovation in a variety of healthcare issues, including quality of care, medical research, and electronic medical records.
