The Helmsley Cancer Center, which Helmsley helped construct and equip, officially opened on Thursday, June 1st, 2023. The Center will serve as the base for all of Shaare Zedek’s oncological consultations and was designed for whole-person care. “This is a different philosophy in the way we approach our patients. It’s a holistic approach. It’s giving hope and emotional serenity and making a difference for doctors, nurses, and patients alike,” Shaare Zedek General Director Professor Ofer Marin said.
