Today, the Bipartisan Policy Center released a new report with recommendations for improving the nation’s mental health crisis response system, including the rollout of the new 988 service. 988 ultimately seeks to ensure that the growing number of Americans needing mental health services receive the care they require. With support from Helmsley, Answering the Call – 988: A New Vision for Crisis Response focuses on crisis response implementation and utilization, as well as support and expansion for the crisis response workforce.
