Removing Barriers to Education in Zambia

In rural Zambia, 10 percent of the population are orphans, many of whom also lack adequate healthcare and psychosocial support. This results in countless children forgoing school and missing out on the opportunities that education provides.

Our partnership with Villages of Hope is providing more than 2,000 at-risk children with essential services: free education, as well as healthcare, housing, and full-time caregiving. Paired with nutrition assistance and sanitation education for children and their caregivers, Villages of Hope is taking a holistic approach to removing crucial barriets and opening a new door to education.
