Sioux Falls Business highlighted the new $7.8 million Helmsley grant that is laser-focused on enhancing access to behavioral healthcare in rural America. With this project, Helmsley is expanding its partnership with Avera Health, which will build a 24-hour telemedicine behavioral health team. This team will deliver care out of Avera eCARE’s virtual hub in South Dakota to a variety of settings across the country, in and out of the hospital. This innovative project aims to combat the psychiatry workforce shortage and make care accessible to individuals who may not otherwise be able to receive it.
