Wyoming Public Radio: The American Heart Association brings Mission: Lifeline Stroke to Wyoming

Reporting for Wyoming Public Radio, Nicky Ouellet highlighted the expansion of the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline Stroke to Wyoming. This program marks the eighth state in which Helmsley’s support for Mission: Lifeline Stroke will transform stroke systems of care. 

Helmsley Trustee, Walter Panzirer told Ouellet that the $41 million Helmsley has invested across those eight states has seen great outcomes, including a reduction in the time between when a stroke patient arrives at the hospital to when they receive a thrombolytic. “Twenty minutes doesn’t sound like a lot, but that can make a huge difference in your recovery and in returning to normal daily life,” he said.
