Ann Kay Lei is a Grants Associate at the Helmsley Charitable Trust. In this role, Ann Kay collaborates with program staff and the Grants Management department to effectively plan and execute Helmsley’s grantmaking processes.

Prior to joining Helmsley, Ann Kay worked as a grants administrator at Porticus, Inc., an international philanthropic advisory company. In this role, she supported international and national education programs, which aimed to embed a whole-child development approach for children facing adversity. Moreover, she engaged in partner convenings, improved data collection and organization, and streamlined grantmaking operations within North America. Prior to Porticus, Inc., Ann Kay served as a procurement administrator at the International Rescue Committee and interned at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

Ann Kay earned her Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Barnard College of Columbia University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and exploring coastal towns across the Mediterranean with a good book and gelato in hand!
